WebMar 30, 2014 · I can speak from experience on this as I just replaced a set of 265/75/16s which were due for replacement anyway with 245/75/16s which are more in line with a stock size. The 75 series is a narrower but taller tire than the 70 although the width is barely noticeable in a 265 configuration.
