WebNov 24, 2014 · Leomund's Tiny Hut = combat stronghold? It seems that 5e has turned LTH from an adventuring utility spell into a powerhouse of defense. Eight hours, party can see out, others can't see in, party can move through the walls freely, others can't. Short of a Dispel Magic, nothing is getting through there. WebLeomunds Tiny Hut is a spell that comes up a lot for being OP, at which point people argue that it's not and that the DM should stop it from being so etc. Etc. But I think it's just a boring spell. People talk a lot about how you should LET players trivialize things, but I feel like those trivializations should be interesting.

The easiest way in is to burrow or be able to phase through the ground. I'd also think that creatures that can enter the ethereal plane could pass within the barrier, then phase back to the material plane.
